Hire the Hall

The Community Centre is available for daytime and evening hire for private functions, kids parties, fitness classes, clubs etc.

 

  • Spacious hall approximately 15m x 8m 

  • Maximum capacity 150 people (90  if seated)

  • Wooden sprung floor,
  • Curtained stage
  • Fully equipped kitchen with serving hatch
  • Adjoining room/ food serving area 

  • Tables and chairs

 

A private car park at the front of the building parks 8 - 10 cars plus on-street parking.

Great public transport links - No. 47 bus route from the Metrocentre and central Newcastle.

​

Standard rate is £20 per hour but this reduces to £10 per hour for regular users after the first 4 weeks.

Hire Conditions

To ensure we are good neighbours and that we are mindful of the needs of other users of the hall, please abide by the following: 

​

  • Any music must cease by 12 midnight.

  • Doors and windows must be kept shut during the performance of electronically amplified entertainment

  • Sunday entertainments authorised by this licence are limited to entertainments not prohibited by the Sunday Observance Act as modified by later statutory provisions.

  • Please do not stick or pin any posters/materials on the walls and do not use duck tape anywhere on the premises

  • Please clean ovens after use

  • Please leave all toilets clean and tidy

  • Please remove all your rubbish from the premises

  • Please do not use the piano.  It is not the property of the Community Association. 

  • Please make sure everyone parks safely away from corners.
